- 1 tablespoon agave nectar or honey (optional)
- fresh mint, lime wedges and small watermelon wedges (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Blend 2 cups of chilled, cubed fresh watermelon until smooth.
- Strain the blended watermelon through a fine mesh strainer to extract the juice, yielding about 1 cup for two cocktails.
- Alternatively, use 1 cup of store-bought watermelon juice if preferred.
- In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine watermelon juice, 3-4 ounces of vodka, lime juice, and optional agave nectar or honey.
- Shake well until chilled, then pour over ice to serve. Optionally, add a splash of Fresca, Sprite, or club soda.
- Garnish with fresh mint, lime wedges, or small watermelon wedges if desired.
Notes
For a stronger cocktail, adjust the vodka amount to taste.
