Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz Italian Sausage
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 15 oz seasoned diced tomatoes
  • 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 18 oz frozen ravioli
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • 1-2 cups fresh spinach, roughly chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over high heat and add the sausage with onions. Cook for about 5 minutes until the sausage is no longer pink and onions are soft. Drain excess grease.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for about a minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, heavy cream, and Italian seasoning until well combined. Add frozen ravioli and stir to coat. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook for 5-7 minutes until ravioli is cooked through.
  4. Mix in grated Parmesan cheese and chopped spinach. Cook for 2-3 minutes until spinach is wilted.
  5. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a splash of red wine before simmering the sauce.
Feel free to substitute with fresh ravioli for a more homemade taste.
