Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup flour
  • ¾ cup protein powder, i used vanilla flavored
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 1½ cups milk
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • cooking spray, for the waffle iron
  • butter
  • maple syrup
  • berries


Instructions

  1. Add the rolled oats, flour, and protein powder to a blender or food processor.
  2. In the blender, also include baking powder, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract; blend until smooth.
  3. Allow the batter to rest for 5 minutes.
  4. Preheat the waffle iron and coat it with cooking spray.
  5. Pour about ¼ cup of batter into the waffle iron and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Continue this process with the remaining batter.
  7. Serve the waffles warm, topped with maple syrup and berries.

Notes

Make sure to blend the ingredients well to achieve a smooth batter.
You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup as desired.
These waffles freeze well, so you can enjoy them later by reheating.
