Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, (about 2 lb)
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon grated parmesan
  • 2 cloves garlic, (finely minced)
  • ½ teaspoon corn starch
  • additional lemon as desired


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425℉ and lightly grease a 9×13" baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, combine dried parsley, salt, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and onion powder.
  3. Place chicken breasts on a cutting board and cover with plastic wrap; flatten the thick end using a rolling pin or small frying pan.
  4. Arrange the chicken in the prepared baking dish, brush with oil, and sprinkle the seasoning blend evenly on both sides.
  5. Layer lemon slices over the seasoned chicken and bake in the oven for 15 minutes.

Notes

For extra brightness, serve with additional lemon wedges on the side.
Make sure to flatten the chicken breasts evenly for even cooking.
