- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 10 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice key lime if possible
- 1/2 tablespoon fresh lime zest plus more for garnish
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons toasted shredded coconut for topping
- graham crackers vanilla wafer cookies, and/or fresh fruit for serving
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
- Add the sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, lime zest, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until everything is fully combined and silky.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with the powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the lime mixture until no streaks remain.
- Transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Sprinkle with a little extra lime zest and toasted coconut.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving with graham crackers, vanilla wafer cookies, or fresh fruit.
Notes
For a stronger lime flavor, use key lime juice instead of regular lime juice.
Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened for the best texture.
This dip can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
