Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 ounces smoked sausages, sliced
  • 1 ½ pounds baby red potatoes, halved
  • 12 ounces fresh green beans, ends trimmed
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 10.5 ounces cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup low sodium chicken broth
  • 1 ½ teaspoons cajun seasoning or creole seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Add the smoked sausages, baby potatoes, green beans, onions, and garlic into the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture into the slow cooker.
  3. Cover the slow cooker and set it to low for 5-6 hours or high for 3 hours, until the potatoes are tender.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheese during the last 10 minutes, cover, and allow it to melt before serving.

You can substitute the smoked sausages with turkey or chicken sausage for a lighter option.
Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or carrots for extra flavor.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
