- 6 Tablespoons butter softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 Tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a 9-inch round pie pan, setting it aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, salt, and baking powder; set aside.
- In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to blend the butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Pour in the dry ingredients and gently mix to combine, then fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Spread the dough into the prepared pie pan and sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of chocolate chips on top, pressing them gently into the dough.
- Bake the cookie for 22-25 minutes in the preheated oven until it puffs up and the edges turn light golden.
- Let the cookie cool at room temperature for 30 minutes, then chill until it's no longer warm, about an hour.
