Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup tomato ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • ½ teaspoon dried minced onion
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon white vinegar
  • 22 ounces frozen waffle fries or your favorite fries
  • 1 yellow onion finely sliced
  • 3 cups iceberg lettuce shredded
  • ¾ cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup dill pickles finely chopped
  • 2 roma tomatoes finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the fries according to package instructions.
  2. In a large pan over medium heat, add ground beef and season with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook until browned and fully cooked, then remove from heat.
  3. In a separate pan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Cook the sliced onions, stirring occasionally, until golden brown, about 15 minutes.
  4. Prepare the sauce by whisking together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, dried minced onion, garlic powder, and white vinegar in a bowl until smooth.
  5. To assemble, start with a base of shredded lettuce in each bowl, top with the beef mixture, cheddar cheese, chopped tomatoes, fries, and pickles. Add caramelized onions on top and drizzle with the sauce.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

Feel free to customize your toppings based on your preferences.
You can substitute any fries you like for waffle fries.
For extra flavor, add jalapeños or crispy bacon as toppings.
