Ingredients

  • 1 pound fusilli pasta
  • 3 cups cooked chicken diced
  • 2 tablespoons buffalo wing sauce
  • 2 ribs celery diced
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 2 tablespoons dry ranch dressing mix
  • pinch sea salt and black pepper, to taste if needed


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente.
  2. Drain the pasta in a colander and rinse it under cold running water.
  3. Coat the diced chicken with 2 tablespoons of buffalo wing sauce and set aside.
  4. In a large bowl, mix the dressing ingredients until well blended.
  5. Add the pasta, chicken, diced celery, and shredded carrots, tossing until everything is well coated with the dressing.
  6. Cover the salad and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

For a spicier kick, increase the amount of buffalo wing sauce used.
You can substitute cooked rotisserie chicken for quicker preparation.
This salad tastes even better if made a few hours ahead, allowing flavors to meld.
