Ingredients

  • 8 cups lettuce iceberg, lettuce
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 8-10 slices crispy bacon
  • ½ cup crumbled feta cheese
  • optional add ins: croutons/cubes of toast, avocado, egg etc.
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • ⅓ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • ⅓ teaspoon dried dill
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder


Instructions

  1. Prepare the dressing by combining mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, sugar, dill, and garlic powder in a jar. Securely cap and shake until well blended. Chill until needed.
  2. Chop the iceberg lettuce, halve the cherry tomatoes, and chop the crispy bacon. Place them in a bowl and sprinkle with feta cheese.
  3. Gradually add the prepared dressing to the salad, stopping when it reaches your desired flavor balance.
  4. Toss the salad gently. If preferred, refrigerate for up to 30 minutes before serving and toss again prior to serving.
  5. Add optional ingredients like croutons or toast just before serving.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream.
